Public Interest Piety: Unpacking the Role of Religion in the 2024 Election

April 23 @ 5:45 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

April 23
5:45 pm - 7:00 pm

Wasserstein Hall 1010
1585 Massachusetts Ave
Cambridge, 02138 United States

In the leadup to the 2024 election and in the wake of international flashpoints that regularly make the intersection of religion and politics increasingly salient, this event will bring together academic and public-service practitioners to discuss religion’s perennially evolving role in the public domain. Specifically, panelists will discuss the extent to which faith should have a presence in politics, if at all, and, more importantly, how voters, believers, and non-believers should process and respond to politico-religious events, especially amid our current season of partisanship, activism, and elections. Dinner will be provided for attendees. This event is hosted by a 2023-24 Harvard Daniel Fellow.
